DIRECTOR-MARKETING

OU Physicians

Under the administrative direction of the Chief Executive Officer, the Director of Marketing is accountable for initiating and coordinating public relations and marketing activities.  The Director of Marketing is directly responsible for managing the activities of the Marketing unit consisting of planning, developing, implementing and maintaining a strategic public relations and marketing program for OU Physicians.  The Director is expected to function independently in directing the work of the Marketing Unit, anticipating and resolving issues, contributing to the decision making processes as a member of the medical group Management Team.  In addition, the Director must establish and maintain effective working relationships with the faculty, administrative personnel, OUMC Executives, and especially external customers.  The ability to provide consistent leadership and maintain excellent interpersonal relations with internal and external customers is required.


Requirements:
The position requires
a bachelor's degree in business administration, health administration, public relations, marketing or a related field.  A related master’s degree is preferred.  Substantial experience in a clinical enterprise with exposure to marketing is important.
